Learn about consignment at 2nd Tyme Around

So the consigner receives 40% of the selling price when it sells. It's a 90 day selling period and then it can go to half price after 60 days. I just ask the consigner to bring it in store ready...no flaws, tears, or missing buttons. Usually three years or newer does better for resale. I only have so much room so it's a seasonal thing. Nobody wants to see wool sweaters in July, nobody wants to see shorts in December. You get to know what is going to sell, so hopefully I don't offend anyone when I pass and any of their items. But it has to be a win-win for the store and for the consigner.
