Her innate love for photography, videography, art, and design has shaped her journey, making her a leading voice in our community's storytelling.

Born and raised in Hastings, Ashley's roots run deep. Her strong connection to the people and the rich history of this community is the bedrock of her work. She's not just a storyteller, though. Ashley wears many hats at HastingsNow.com. As a co-founder, Ashley and her husband, Peter, do everything from photography and videography to content editing, web design, and social media management. Their shared passion for learning and their collaborative approach have been instrumental in HastingsNow's success.

Another facet of Ashley's life that inspires is her integration of her professional roles with her cherished family life. As a mother of two boys, Ashley has found a rhythm that allows her to devote time to both her family and her business. She underscores the importance of carving out time for self-care amidst the whirlwind of everyday tasks.

Her favorite part of the job? Learning about people. The joy Ashley derives from her interactions with others shines through in her work. She enjoys documenting and capturing the untold stories and sharing them with the world, adding a touch of beauty and knowledge to our everyday lives.

One of her most memorable projects is a testament to this. In 2012, Ashley and her husband had the unique opportunity to interview her grandparents.
