Whistling Well Farm says it will open at 9:00 AM on Saturday, September 19, and Sunday, September 20. The farm expects Apple Crunch Bread, Apple Pie Bread and apple pies from Great Harvest Bread Co., along with apples and new farm animals for visitors to meet.

Hastings Community TV says Executive Director Mike Bremer will co-host the 27th Annual Upper Midwest Emmy Awards on October 17 with Emily Taplin of Bloomington Community Television.

6. River Blades opens registration for fall skating lessons
