1. Levee Park hosts comedy Tuesday and storytime Wednesday
James Wedgwood brings comic ventriloquism to Levee Park’s Rotary Pavilion on Tuesday, September 15, from 6:30–7:30 p.m. The free performance is recommended for teens and adults, according to the City’s Levee Park schedule.
Younger listeners get their turn on Wednesday, September 16, from 10–10:45 a.m., when free storytime brings stories, songs and activities to the pavilion. The recommended audience is children ages 7 and younger.

2. Hometown Dairy’s appreciation week begins September 14
Hometown Dairy is celebrating its first year with customer appreciation activities September 14–20 at 1700 Vermillion Street. The store has announced daily gift-card drawings during the celebration.
