The Arts & Crafts Fair at Jaycee Park runs from 9 a.m.–4 p.m. Family entertainment downtown continues from 9 a.m.–2 p.m., while Machinery Hill is scheduled from 9 a.m.–1 p.m.
The Classic Car Show and carnival rides both run from 11 a.m.–4 p.m. YMCA Duck Race activities begin at 1 p.m.

2. Overnight rail maintenance may bring noise and lighting
Residents and businesses near the eastern Hastings rail corridor may notice overnight noise and temporary lighting during the week of Monday, July 20, through Friday, July 24.
CPKC plans to replace railroad ties and resurface the rail spur near 2nd Street East and Bailly Street, King Midas Lane and the Ardent Mills area.
According to the City of Hastings notice, work may occur between 2 a.m. and noon. Mobile lighting may be used when crews are working overnight.
The notice does not provide a street-by-street schedule or guarantee that overnight work will occur every night.
3. Free Hastings Dance Team clinic set for July 30
Middle- and high-school-age students considering the Hastings Dance Team can attend a free summer clinic from 4–7 p.m. Thursday, July 30, in the Hastings Middle School gym.
The clinic is intended for students interested in the fall team, winter team or both. Participants can meet coaches and get a closer look at the program.
