Hastings Family Service is accepting new school-supply donations through Tuesday, August 11 for students living in or attending school in ISD 200.
Donations can be dropped at 301 Second Street East in Hastings. The donation center is open Monday, August 10, and Tuesday, August 11, from 9 a.m.–4 p.m.

2. Afton Apple holds a seasonal hiring event Wednesday
Afton Apple Orchard is hiring for several fall seasonal positions and plans an in-person apply-and-interview event Wednesday, August 12, from 5–7 p.m. at 14421 South 90th Street in Hastings.

3. Indigo Moon headlines Thursday’s free Music + Market
Hastings’ Music + Market returns to Levee Park Thursday, August 13, from 6–8:30 p.m.

Crème de la Crème and the Hastings Police Department will host Cones for Cops Tuesday, August 18, from 4–6 p.m. in downtown Hastings.

9. River Blades opens fall skating registration at Hastings Civic Arena

River Blades Skating School has opened registration for its fall session at Hastings Civic Arena.
Saturday classes run October 10 through December 19, with no class November 28. Programs cover learn-to-skate, figure-skating and hockey skill levels.
